Using multiple definition is possible, but that would only support the idea of different names. The argument ''log'' should be ''log10'' is a valid one and the argument ''log'' should have two parameters as well. I believe PHP also has optional function parameters, with a specified default value. This is much like that and I think the PHP documentation also uses only one definition, but I'm unsure about this.&lt;br /&gt;
